Back to basics

After nineteen years with ABDICK Products in Dallas Texas, Wes Ratliff decided to "Head West". The opportunity Wes had been waiting for had finally arrived; it came in the form of an ABDICK Products distributorship in Abilene, Texas.

The year was 1978, Wes knew that if he provided people with a quality product, "customer first" service, and "fair and honest" pricing, he could make a living for he and his family.

ABDICK Products of Abilene soon gave birth to Automated Copy Systems when in 1981 the Canon office equipment line became part of the family. Twenty-eight years later, our product lines have grown to include Canon, Kyocera Mita, and Riso, not to mention several other industry specific lines, but our quest to provide a quality product, "customer first" service, and "fair and honest" pricing has never wavered.

We have had the privilege of being named Small Business of the Year 2000, by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau and support many Non-Profit Organizations in our community.

We have gone from three employees in a 1000 square foot building to seventeen employees in a 15,000 square foot facility. We don’t just sell copy machines, we partner with our customers to provide them the best "solution" for their business needs.

In-House Financing

ACS offers in-house financing. No third party finance companies and more importantly no hidden fees. This means that ACS has the flexibility to work with the customers needs and that all questions/concerns are handled right here in Abilene, Texas not out of town, or worse, out of state. In this ever changing world of technology it is important to be able to make all decisions in-house regarding our customer’s financial needs.
